How did his How career start:
Martin
started his professional career at the tender age of 16yrs..After being
discovered by the popular ‘JoyousCelebration’ founder and director Lindelani
Mkhize alongside International award winning producer Gabi Le Roux.
Martin
PK joined forces with his brother Given Phike and they formed the popular boy
bandInadifloan RnB Kwaitogroup. The group was signed by Sony Music and went to release the album and shot 2
music videos also staged alongside the likes of the late Brenda Fassie, Tkzee,
Mandoza ,Mafikizola and Ringo Madlingozi just to name a few.
Martin PK’S Achievements:

In 2004 Martin PK won the prestigious talent show South African
Popsatars aired on SABC
·
In 2010 went on to present the very same competition he won in 2004.

In 2011 Nominated for the South African Music Awards {SAMA} for best
gospel
·
In 2012 won 2 awards in Atlanta Georgia for his MAN ON A MISSION album at EnSound Music Awards where scooped 2
awards Best Urban Gospel and Best Foreign Artirst. He also got surprising
nominations for the Crown Gospel Awards. He also went on to win Best Hit Song
of the Year awarded by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome PhD in Nigeria edging out his
close friend Frank Edwards for award.

Grateful.

Through his record label PK Records he has gone on to secure
nominations for SAMA in 2012.

Martin PK’s Current Projects

Martin PK is now currently in studio rounding up his second solo studio
album titled THE EVOLUTION. He has shot 2 video for the 2 Hit singles “YOU DE
GRACE” ft. Chris Boss from Lagos Nigeria.

He is currently promoting
his songs on the Man on a Mission church tour all over South Africa.
