Praying For Typhoon-Ravaged Philippines
JOIN CHRISTIAN EVENTS SA TO
PRAY FOR RAVAGED PHILIPPINES
Survivors of super Typhoon Haiyan are desperate need of food, water and
medical care. Over 10,000 people are dead after deadly tropical storm blew
through the Philippines over the weekend. Close to 9.7 million people in 41
provinces were also affected by the typhoon. The storm destroyed several homes
leaving more than 600,000 people have been displaced.
CNN reporter Holly Yan wrote of described the
atmosphere among survivors as filled with "The unbearable stench of
rotting flesh. The search for relatives under heaps of rubble. The desperate
pleas for food and water."
Humanitarian
organizations and foreign governments are working assist the country in its
recovery. The U.S. Navy are headed to the country with helicopters, medical
facilities, and tools to convert seawater into drinking water.
Although African Christians are continents away, we can help.
Churches such as River of Life International Christian Fellowship in
White Marsh, Maryland are gathering clothes, food and supplies to ship to the Philippines. World Vision is raising funds to provide
emergency assistance to 400,000 people.
Christianeventssa is also raising funds to provide emergency assistance
with relief materials
The victims and
their families also need our prayers.
-Pray for the injured
who are susceptible to infections and disease.
-Pray for families
still waiting to hear from loved ones in storm-ravaged areas.
-Pray for the
families of the dead.
-Pray that God will
strengthen aid workers as care for those in need.
-Pray that God will
strengthen churches as they bring comfort and hope to the needy.
-Pray the orphaned,
widowed and the poor who will be further impacted by Typhoon Haiyan.

VEE –
Besides working
full time I add value to my life by studying Law; now in my 3rd
year.
(CESA) Why Gospel music?
VEE
- The gospel of Jesus Christ is a tried and tested solution to all challenges.
It’s has in it the word that recreates a Man’s spirit.
(CESA) - What is the name of your current album and what is the
inspiration behind the project?
VEE - Noma Kunje is the name of the album meaning we
will conquer regardless; This Album is packaged with songs which Resurrects Hope,
and Songs that Imparts Healing to the sick.
(CESA) - How would you describe your style of music?
VEE –
(CESA) - Following your
beginning, did you ever thought that you'd one day become a star?
VEE - I believe in every-thing I do because I have the God
given talent to make it happen
VEE – YES we have ... my
team and I encountered some challenges that ranges from Song arrangements, Song
writing, and I also had to improvise on some of the songs during the
recording.
